Humberto Quagliata is considered one of the most eminent personalities in Spanish music today, acknowledged by international acclaim as one of the greatest interpreters of the Spanish pianistic repertoire created in the last fifty years, which he has interpreted on leading stages of the world, like the Teatro Alla Scala (Milan), Théâtre des Champs Elysées (Paris), Teatro Colón (Buenos Aires), Carnegie Hall (Nueva York), Tchaikovsky Conservatory (Moscow), St. Petersburg Philharmonia, Teatro Real and Auditorio Nacional de Música (Madrid), Sydney Opera House, Beijing Concert Hall, Chuo Kaikan Hall (Tokio), having given, to date, more than 2,000 concerts. Mr. Quagliata's extraordinarily active participacion in disseminating current Spanish music has been crowned by his being decorated by H.M. King Juan Carlos I of Spain.
